to the floor at the same time. There's a rhyme for this I learned at track school, but I can't remember it, lolam. Another nice little trick to learn after you get down the basics (especially since you live on a hill) is to point your car uphill, set the parking brake, then get the car moving forward without rolling backwards or spinning the tires. You have to release the parking brake at the same time you are disengaging the clutch. Comes in handy.
